Second Life

Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. - Librarians of Second Life at Urban Thai at 561 23rd St. South.

The restaurant said they are indeed walking distance from the Hyatt. Let's meet at the Hyatt (near conference registration) at 5:30 p.m. then walk together. If you want to meet us at the restaurant, please be there about 5:45 p.m. Menu selections include vegetarian items. Judging from what is available online, prices seem reasonable.

Other Dine Arounds

Okay, at this point I think it best if people sign up on the Dine Arounds board (beside the registration desk) since I didn't get something specific settled!  I may already have plans Monday and Tuesday night, but perhaps Wednesday for those still around? - Connie Crosby

The other dine arounds don't seem to be seeing a lot of action.  I'd be interested in meeting and talking with others about blogging (not necessarily specific to my library) and/or Web 2.0 generally--podcasting, Ning, wikis, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.  Also, creating intranets for a special library.  Anyone else want to meet and talk about something else?   Post here your suggestions/ideas or email me -   Connie Crosby
